By some CD, the track titles do not appear, only the durations of each song are imported.
Whene this CD reading in Windows Mediaplayer there are track titels to see, sp I do it with copy and paste, but is a long way.
I have moved your topic to the Music Collector subforum.
Music Collector:
If a CD is scanned with the CD drive in your computer, a CDID will be scanned. More often than not will it find the CD in our Core database and give you tracks based on that. If and when no result can be found, the software can read “CDTEXT” from a CD, but only if the CD provides it.
Reading CDID works in all versions of Music Collector.
Reading CDTEXT only works in the 32 bit version of Music Collector. You can install the 32 bit version like so: download the full installer from your account at https://my.clz.com and install from there.
- while installing on the step that asks which version to install, choose the 32-BIT version.
Windows Mediaplayer:
Windows Mediaplayer also scans the “CDID” and then gives you information from online sources. If no data can be found there, it will show CDTEXT. And if the CD was burnt/made without CDTEXT, nothing will show.
