My dilema is that there are 2 different characters in the CLZ database for Miles Morales. The Ultimate and 616 version. They are actualy the same charecter and I would like my list of “Comics by character” to reflect as such. It currently has them as seperate charecters. I can not figure out how to change the character for a book for multiple books at one time, I can only change them one at a time. Thanks
Would you say this is a Core problem that we should look into to see if we can merge them? Or should we keep them separated?
In any case if you want to merge them for your collection, here are the steps:
If you really want them merged, for all comics in your entire database, do this:
- Click the menu top left, then click “Manage Pick Lists”
- Now select “Character” from the dropdown at the top.
- Now search for “Morales”
- Now check the box in front of one of them,
- Now click the “merge” button on the right hand side for the other one.
This will merge them all to 1 Miles Morales for all books that use them.
It will also make all character lists where this character is part of, custom (meaning the character lists will not be updated anymore if you use Update from Core on those comics).
