CLOUD STORAGE

I was under the impression that when one saves the collection this means it has been saved in the ‘cloud’?? This is obviously not the case because when my computer failed most of the data was lost, even the back up drive failed!

So, when I clicked on the ‘cloud’ to download my entire collection back to my computer I discovered (to my horror) that there was only a handful of items saved here!

Luckily, I have my collection on my phone and therefore I was able to up-load from there thank goodness, dreading the thought of having to relist hundreds of ‘music’ again.

So, what is the answer here in case all else fails??

No that is not the case.
To save to the cloud, you need to use Sync with CLZ Cloud in the software.

Wait, so how did the data get on your phone then?

The data on the phone was not affected, it was only the computer

Also, everything on the computer was sync’d

But how did the data get from the computer to the phone?
Normally, one would do that through the CLZ Cloud syncing, which automatically means your CLZ Cloud would be up-to-date.

Sorry, it was not my phone…it war my iPod.

So how did the data get from the computer to the ipod?

Alwin,

The data was originally on the app and was downloaded from there!

So, I kept updating on the ipod (syncing) as well as on the computer when changes were made to my input.

Therefore, all the data was up to date on the ipod

If you were doing it that way, then your CLZ Cloud would have been always up-to-date, right?

So how come “there was only a handful of items saved there”?

Thanks for your reply and in answer to your message ‘I have no idea how that happened’, I wish I did.

Thanks for your attention.

Regards once more
