Is it possible to add a new category to the collection status tab?
It is not possible to add a new Collection Status to the list of available collection statuses.
Out of curiosity:
Which Collection Statuses would you add if it was possible?
I have some vinyl recordings that are damaged/need replacing, it would be a quick way of checking/remembering.
Perhaps you can āmisuseā the āFor Saleā collection status?
Or use Tags, and add a tag āNeeds replacementā ? (you can later tap the folder button top left and group by Tags to see them all)

FWIW, I created a separate collection and move albums there.
That could work indeed.
Just to let everyone know: moving to a separate collection means the albums can not be found if you search them in your main collection tab.
Only the active collection tab can be searched when searching albums locally in own collection!
A possible workaround, and one I used myself, is to create a tag for damaged items.
