The total number of comics displayed at the top of the screen or for an individual storage box does not include duplicates and only counts unique titles, the monetary value does include duplicates. Can the total number of comics include duplicates as well? The way it is now if I click on a storage box to see how many books are in that box to see if there is more room I’m not getting an accurate count of comics in that box because dups are not counted. In the example below including dups there are actually 126 comics in this box. Thank you.

the “x comics” will always state how many “database items” are in there. It does not care for quantity field, nor does it care for the collection status of a comic.
The value will always count exactly the worth of the contents of whatever your viewing in that list. It will look at the quantity of the database item, and also at the collection status, because you really need both those things to get a good correct sum up of the value there at the top.
Same goes for the folder counter, in the left hand panel, it also only counts the amount of database items “in that folder”.
I’d be hesitant to change those numbers. You could possible show 1 database entry in a folder, and have it say 1000 comics at the top.
I understand for your case how it would be useful.
Here’s an idea: instead of using the quantity field, just add more database entries, for each of your dupes. That would solve the issue for you I think!
Well in some cases I have many duplicates… that won’t work for me unfortunately.
I understand your position, and I do think the workaround would work for you, but yes, it is a bit of work to make it happen.
