Is there a way to have a series show as complete after collecting all the issue numbers regardless of cover letter. I don’t want to have to collect all the variants and new stands to have a series show up as complete in the app.
Marking a series as complete is a manual action, so you are in control of when you decide a series is complete.

How does one do that exactly?
From the menu, choose Manage Pick Lists, then Series List.
From there, you can edit Series entries and toggle their “Completed” state.
Have you considered any way the application can assist in identifying completed series? If for example - you have no missing issues in a title / series.
