Console error after searching

I can’t see anything going functionally wrong, but I do get the following console error:

Reproduction path:

  1. Search any title and click on the result so the list on the left is loaded.
  2. Search again on any title and click on the result again. Boom: error in console.

I’ve reported this one now as well (one of the developers told me he had seen this in the past, but we have never gotten any trouble on it so it was put on a low level bug report).

This has now been fixed!

Looks like that error is now gone, bug got 2 in return:

Maybe it is a different problem.

  • Search a movie and click on the result
  • Search again and triple click to select all text. Now you get both exceptions. Or just double click to select a word also triggers the problem.

Alternative way to trigger the DOM exception:

  • Load application with empty search bar.
  • Just double click in the search field, sometimes you need some tries

Not a shocking bug I think because everything still works (I think, didn’t check everything).

In most cases I triple click to select all text. If you select the text with your mouse by dragging or using the backspace key it triggers no exceptions.
