Converting "Missing Comics" from trades to single issues

Hello group,

New to this service and I absolutely LOVE it. Game changer for me to manage my 30 years of comics collecting.

I have been exploring the “Missing Comics” feature and I am hitting a wall.

I have a mix of trades, omnis and singles for various series. I visit cons once in a while trying to fill in some of my gaps. I would like to be able to convert the issues of a series found in a trade into the single issue numbers found in that trade. Right now, if I click on “Missing comics”, it will tell me for example I am missing three trades. But really, I have some of those issues in singles but they don’t meld together. Or, similarly, I have overlapping trades, and rather than see which trade I am missing, I would like to see the issues I am missing as maybe it is easier this way or maybe that trade just doesn’t exist yet. Or, final example, I have a trade that includes issues from three different series, I would want them to appear as part of that series (ex: The new X-men Blue and Gold vol 1 omni, I would want the issues in there to appear under X-men AND Uncanny so I can see which issues I am missing while considering I own that omni).

Gosh, I hope I am clear. LOL So I am wondering if I am missing something about the service to be able to see a broader picture of what I am missing so it can make it easier for me to fill those gaps.

I understand your suggestions, but I am afraid our Core or the app has no knowledge of which issues are contained in a TPB, so that makes it impossible to create a feature like that.

Thank you for the response. Completely understandable.

Could there eventually be a manual way for us to input the issues in? I understand that the info may not be in the database, but if there was a way for me to input the issues manually and then generate a list of those issues to see which are missing, it would be just as useful.

Regardless, please keep up the great work, as mentioned this tool is phenomenal!
