On Music Collector desktop i’m no more able to see Artist’s Country Flag… How to join Country Name to its Flag? In the “Country manage” list they seem perfectly associated, but i can’t see the flag near the Country Name in the “normal” album display…

Country is an “album” field, that you can set for an album entry.

You can’t set a country for an “artist”.

Which field are you entering the country in?

Thanks, but this I know… The issue is that now the country’s flags doesn’t appear no more on the “main page” of the album’s description (this happened since a couple of weeks, before all was good… why? did I set something wrong by mistake?)

In other words: now when I add a new album and select the artist’s country field and other options, after clicking “OK” only the country’s name appears in main page, not the flag. And flags disappeared also in every item added in the past…

Could you tel me how could I “associate” again the Countries flags to the Countries names?

Looks like your list item images have been moved to a new location, or they didn’t install correctly.

I have 4 possible solutions to this problem.

Solution 1: Update File Links

Try solving it by Updating your File Links, perhaps the paths to the images are missing. Use this manual:

Solution 2: Set the List Images Folder correctly

First, make sure your List Images Folder has been set correctly. If you have recently switched computers, this is very likely to be the cause of your problem. Here’s how you do that:

Go to “Tools > Options” and click the “Folders” option on the left hand side. Under “List Item Images Folder” (the third block) hit BROWSE, and make sure it points to the correct folder (please do check your actual folder to see if the List Item Images are actually present on that exact location on your computer!). You might need to restart your program after changing this setting.

Solution 3: Re-install

Can you check if they did actually install for you? You might want to try a fresh install. You can download your latest version from your My CLZ page here:

A fresh install will add the country flag icons back to where they should’ve been in the first place.

Solution 4: Add them yourself

Last resort if the above 3 solutions don’t work:
If a fresh install doesn’t work either, here’s instructions on how to manually link them (and where to find the icons).

  1. Click “Edit” from the top menu, and then “Manage Pick Lists”.

  2. Find “Countries” in the left-hand panel. Click it.

  3. You now see the list of countries on the right-hand panel.

  4. Under “image” click on Browse and go to your Documents > Movie Collector > Images > Listitemimages folder, find the right country flag and add it.

  5. Under “Template Image” click Browse and add the same country flag, click OK and close the Edit List screen.

Your albums will now automatically get the right country flag.
