I have difficulty syncing my cover photos from CLZ Books to Book Connect. They do not show up in Connect, and CLZ Book will not allow me to resync the book.
After further troubleshooting, I found that the cover image in Book Connect will show in the backdrop but not in the actual record cover image. Look at record 278 in the magic collection for an example.
I looked at that book in your Book Connect and that is strange indeed.
Will look into this with a developer tomorrow.
Did you find a solution? I’ve been screaming at the computer all morning. I have been trying to upload the correct cover for my edition and sometimes it takes, and sometimes it doesn’t. I’ve tried entering the book manually, but that didn’t work either. Yet it is not every time! I’ve loaded quite a few successfully so it’s not a .heic issue.
How are you adding books and the cover images? In CLZ Books or Book Connect?

Is that back cover image very big maybe? Or in a format other than JPG?
They’re off my iPhone. .heic format.
But those are probably HUGE, right?
I recommend scaling them down to, say, 1000 px height, then saving as JPG, then upload.

Okay - son told me to send to myself via WhatsApp and it reduces the size. Works!
