CovrPrice Sold price

Question, do the books marked as sold update in price under sold or do they stop updating?

If I sell a book I want to know what the market rate was at the time I sold it so I would like to keep that price lockdown for reference. Is there a way to do this if it does not already happen?

@verga_grande

Collection Status does not “lock” the value as it was on a certain day.
When you mark a book as sold, and you use Update Values, it will still grab the value from CovrPrice and update it.

If you wish to keep the value as it was on that day, you should do this:

  • Tap the comic, tap EDIT
  • Change the collection status to SOLD to mark it as sold (as you always do)
  • Go to the VALUE tab at the top, and fill the “current value” into the “My Value” field

The My Value field will always take precedence over the CovrPrice value, and that is also the value that will show in the list and details panel of the comic.

Try it with 1 and see if you like it.

Thank you. I will try that. However, separate question. I just exported my collection in the CLZ Web interface and the CovrPrice prices are blank! I had just updated the values. I need to export my collection with the CovrPrice estimated values. Can you help with this?

Here’s how to export the CovrPrice values:

  • sync with CLZ Cloud
  • go to https://app.collectorz.com/comics and log in.
  • Click the menu top left, and use Export to txt/csv or Print to PDF.
  • Choose the Value field as a column and generate the file to download it!

Please note that exporting the CovrPrice values is only possible if you are subscribed to CovrPrice on their Yearly Plan.
Maybe you are on the Monthly plan?

Log in to your CovrPrice account at covrprice.com to change to their Yearly subscription plan if you would like to be able to export the values!
