Pardon if not the right place to suggest. Is there a way to log pin-up artists? I don’t see that option under Creators, but some books hold significance for the pin-ups they contain, such as first published work of a given artist, etc.
No, I’m afraid there isn’t a way to log pin-up artists.
@staytooned you could use tags for this if you are looking to track a particular artist? I do this for J. Scott Campbell for example, who has done some pin-up art in random books over the years. Or, you could set up a tag for ‘pin-ups’ generally, if you are just interested in tracking books that contain those in your collection.
Thanks for the replies! I do use tags to track stuff like that myself as well, and they work to some degree, but seems like a dedicated slot under Creators would be more appropriate. Doesn’t even have to be “Pin-Up” specifically - maybe just an “Other” credit. TMNT books had a regular section for pin-ups, with many notable names that have contributed. Others, like Adam Hughes and Rob Liefeld, had their first work published as pin-ups. Seems like something worth tracking. But if tags is the only way, then that’ll have to do.
