I believe I saw this question asked before but I can’t find it so here goes …
When I add a new record to the database I assume it stores the date it was added (and/or amended)? If so I would like this to be a field that I can use. For example I would like to sort by that field so that I can see entries that I have recently added. Is that possible and if not please add it as a feature request.

Date Added is not a field you can edit yourself, it’s indeed the date/time it was added. And it won’t change then.
Date modified is also a field you have for your albums, which stores the last date/time it was modified (this one can change of course).
You can already sort by Date/Time added:
You can also add it as a column to your list view (use Added Date/Time, not Added Date)

There might be heaps more fields you can add as a column that you might enjoy. I strongly recommend clicking the columns button above the list, and have a scroll through the list of available fields!
