I have 1381 books listed in my database, 1210 of which are in paperback format. Yet when I looked at Statistics a few days ago, I noticed that it shows 1391 books, 1220 of which are paperbacks! The Reading Statistics show 1274 books read, and 107 books not read, a total of 1381, so that does agree with the total number of books (1381) on the main page.
Any idea as to what might be the cause of this?
The “An Uneasy Crown” by David Field book in your database has a quantity set to 11, so that would explain it. I’m assuming that’s just a mistake (so you can find and edit the book and set the quantity to 1 to fix this).
Explanation:
The main screen (showing 1381) just shows the amount of “book lines”.
The statistics screen (showing 1391) totals will take quantity and collection status with it too. So if you have 1 book with quantity 11, it will be counted 11 times in the Statistics totals.
(or if you have a book marked as “Wish List” for instance, it will not be counted in your Statistics).
Hope that helps!
Thank you very much for resolving this for me, CLZ_AJ.
