Duplicate entries

So I recently went through a separation and rather than trying to figure out what movies she took from my collection when she left I decided to purge and start over. I just re-scanned my entire collection and when I went to sync with mobile, it seems that everything that existed in the prior database doubled up in my new one. Is there a way to clean this up short of purging and rescanning again? I have a few movies that I do have duplicates for but ensuring those are entered is easier than removing the ones entered in error.

There is a folder called Added Date. Set up this folder, and then, if the results look correct, carefully remove old entries. You can use the multi - select features to do this quite quickly.
