Export from App

Just wondering if there is a way to export my collection or specific folders from the app.

You can’t export directly from mobile device, but you can export from your CLZ Cloud page.

Here’s what to do:
(if you’ve already synced your collection you can start with step 3)

On your mobile app:

  1. Open the menu top left and tap “Sync with CLZ Cloud”
  2. Now sync, and make sure everything is synced.

On your desktop computer (PC or Mac):
3. Go to your CLZ Cloud webpage and login.

4. Click the menu icon top left and then click “Export to CSV/TXT” .
Or choose “Print to PDF”!

  1. You can now select a sort order and also choose the fields you’d like to export.
  2. Click “Generate” at the bottom and then download the resulting file.

On the cloud page you can also make a selection or “folder group” by something, and then just export those comics.

You can also share your cloud if the purpose of exporting is only to share the list with a friend! (Cloud Sharing can be found in the menu top left on the CLZ Cloud page!)

I used the browser on my phone and was able to do it that way and download to my Google Docs.

If you don’t mind me asking:
What is your plan with the export? (ever considered just “sharing your Cloud database” perhaps? (I’m always curious about exports, sometimes we can think of ways of doing stuff in the app/cloud that people didn’t think of (and therefor are trying to export)).

Looking at possibly selling some of my graded books and sometimes I find it easier to print out the information to review. Sort of how I don’t like reading digital comics, as I like the tactile experience of feeling the pages.
