My feature request is a “Last Played” solution including history and statistics.
May be beneath the “Stars” for rating there could be a button “played today”.
At the moment we started the workaround with an entry in the “notes-field”, after I found out with some help on FB that it is searchable.
But sure you could do it much better

Hello all, just joined and I’m busy cataloguing my CD collection. I’ve already discovered some duplicates that I never realised I owned! I want to find albums that, over time, fall out of my rotation, and the “Listened to” field is just what I need. However, it does seem to take quite a few steps to fill it in every time.
Can I add my vote to this feature request?
I’d love a “Log Listen” button on the main album details page that automatically adds an entry for “Today.” Since you already have the “Listening History” field, adding a shortcut button to populate it would be a very welcome update. I reach for the “Action” button every time, but that’s more for Database focused actions - or a left swipe on the CD, but again that’s only to delete. Hmmmm, just needs a button 
It’s easy to search for the CD in my hand using the barcode search, and easy to rate the music, but it’s a faff to fill in the listened to date (today).
Loving to software and really helping me tidy up my collection.
