I’m putting this here because it’s more about adding the data element, but there’s as aspect of it that affects the Mobile app as well. When you’re entering a comic, you can check “Fill with Cover Price” and then also add a discount. I assume this came about to accommodate pull lists where you buy them at cover price and then have a set discount for all of them. I often buy a bunch of comics where they are all priced as marked, but I negotiate a discount for all of them at the end. So I was hoping to enter the discount, then enter the price of each. That would track that they were marked as X, but I paid X * (100-D) where D is the discount. Then I could enter in each price, leave that discount for the whole session, and everything would be calculated and tracked correctly. I’m also thinking I could then look back next time I’m dealing with that seller and see what sort fo discount I was given. Let me know if that makes sense and if you’ll consider it. Thanks.
Just to be clear, would you want to save that discount amount in the database too, or is this just a way to automatically calculate the purchase price while in the Pre-fill screen?
