First time Posting in the community. Been using CLZ apps since 2018. Best collection apps on the market by far and large. Thank you devs for that!
That being said after amassing quite the collection, I’ve decided to dive deep into “sprucing” up my listings for each game. I want to make sure every game has the proper title, genres, release date, PriceChart ID, region, trailers (via “Add Link” since we can not add them ourselves) and finally descriptions.
Which brings me to the reason for this post. It’s a two parter. There are a few “feature requests” I was curious about and I also had a question about the 'descriptions" section of the edit tab. I could make a second post but I didn’t want to crowd up the forum with a bunch of separate posts.
Part One - Feature Requests:
Here is a list of a couple things I’d love to see come to this app in the future:
- Allow the assignment of JP region under the “Value” tab as it is missing for whatever reason.
- Custom “Statistics” View: i.e Select certain sections you would or would not like to see in Statistics.
- Ability to add/edit Trailers yourself or embed videos in the “Game” view beyond basic links.
- Ability to add “additional” photos beyond “Front/Back Covers”
- Ability to search for Cover images inside the app either via Google Image Search or TGDB as to not clog up photos trying to change/add them.
- Ability to ads icons for “Platforms” that don’t have one such as the “game.com” system or even the ability to add custom ones
- Ability to add/change backdrop image for game view
- Ability to rearrange the Split View on iPad/Tablet. It defaults to have the game list on top, and game info on the bottom and having the ability to switch that would be great.
That’s all the suggestions/requests I have for now but I’m sure I will find more!
Can wait to see what else you add to this amazing app!
Part Two - Question:
I was customizing my Descriptions and have found out that it is possible to use basic HTML codes to customize text such as “< b >” for Bold and the like. But some codes do not work such as < big > or anything having to do with text size. I looked into the manual to see if there was a list of what will and will not work as far as HTML code and there was no mention of it which is what led me not here. I was just curious as to what the limitations are for using HTML code in the description text. Any word on this would be fantastic.
Thanks for anyones time who read through all this. I hope someone can help me.
