Finding Empty Notes Field

I am using the notes field, under the plot field to enter comments about the book. I would like a filter to just display the books where that field is empty. I’ve tried Book-Note Contains _____ and Book-Note Contains Null, but to no avail. Probably a simple answer, but cannot find “finding a null” in the help.

Use menu Search > Filters > Create/Modify.

Create a new Filter, set it to
Field: Book Notes
Comparison: “Equals”
Value: (don’t do anything here)

It will look like this:

That, for me, shows all books that have no Notes filled in!
