I think the editors mentioned on the Facebook site a while back that they were putting those Mexican foils in their own series because of the change of publisher.
Regardless the rationale, I think that’s already indexed under “The Amazing Spider-Man, Vol. 2 [MX]” — as you may know, you are free to add that to your own collection and then merge that series with the original ASM if you want it showing as a variant to 601 in your app.
