[Fixed] Amethyst Volumes 1 - 4 Query

I was adding some DC’s Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld to my collection and noticed something in the core.

It looks like there are two Volume 1s from the 80s.

Amethyst volumes are as follows…

Amethyst Princess of Gemworld, Vol. 1

12 issues (1983-84)

Amethyst Princess of Gemworld, Vol. 2

16 issues (1985-86)

Amethyst, Vol. 3

4 issues (1987-88)

Amethyst, Vol. 4

6 issues (2020)

In the core, we have Amethyst Princess of Gemworld, Vol. 1 and then Amethyst Vol. 1, 2, 3. The 1983 maxi-series should be Volume 1 while the 1985 series should be Volume 2 (then the other two follow as 3 and 4).

The first two series are officially named Amethyst Princess of Gemworld. The last two mini-series are just titled Amethyst.

Before we dive into this series: What is your understanding of “officially named”?

“Cover titled as Amethyst Princess of Gemworld, indicia is only Amethyst.”

Then never mind. The indicia for the first mini-series lists it as “Amethyst Princess of Gemworld". That makes this one the odd man out and the other three Volumes 1 - 3.

Thanks for the correction. We now return to our regular programming.
