Observation: I have a Fixed Button Bar with 2 options that I added. When I edit an issue that I have not edited since adding the field, I have essentially 3 things I can do: 1. option A on the bar, 2. option B on the bar, and 3. just leave it alone, leaving neither option selected.

However, if I select option A or B, but then decide I want to leave it blank, I can’t put it back to blank, all I can do is either leave it or switch it.

Is there an option to reconfigure the Fixed Button Bar so that re-selecting the currently-selected item unselects it, putting the bar back to “neither choice”?

There is not I’m afraid. We’re considering to add a fixed “None” or “N/A” button to those. The “none selected” is a weird state, and essentially a bug (being able to have it at “nothing”.
