In core you have this as a GN published by McSweeney’s in 2009. But the image is the 1972 comic.

There are 2 things here:
#1 - comic published by Last Gasp in 1972 and considered to be the 1st autobiographical comic.
50 cent cover price. 44 pages

2nd thing is a reprint of that comic with some extra material by McSweeney’s in 2009.
This HC is 64 pages and was priced st $29

So… this entry should have #1 as a comic, then a separate entry for the HC reprint 37 years later.

Guess you would find this particular magazine in the local head shop?… right next the freak bros and zippy and zap?… I do remember my older sister taking me there as a 10 year old
All those pretty bongs and pipes right there with the black light posters and frank zappa albums
