[Fixed] Flashback duplicates

Two “Flashback” specials appear to be double listed.

Journey Into Mystery Flashback #1 looks like a duplicate of Journey Into Mystery, Vol. 1 #-1.

Also, Ka-Zar: Lord of The Hidden Jungle - Flashback #1 looks like a duplicate of Ka-Zar, Vol. 4 #-1.

As to Ka-Zar, Vol. 4 #-1 - Shouldn’t it be a one-shot issue going by its indicia title Ka-Zar: Sibling Rivalry, Vol. 1 #-1

They editors may see a reason to spin this out into its own series, but they have said in the past that they don’t strictly follow the indicia — they put the comic where most users will look for it.

Assuming they leave it where it is, as you may know, you are free to rename it in your own database. You’d still get content updates and, if you participate in the CovrPrice partnership, value updates.

There are several series that, while I understand why the editors put a particular issue where they did, I wanted to organize them differently in my collection and so I have renamed them.

Thanks for the reply. I’m just starting out here and am starting to realize what you said, and I am changing issue titles, series titles etc. I think what would be helpful to me would be when you get a list of possible series after hitting the add button, if the list could show the year range, possibly over on the right side of the listing box. Many times I have to scan the cover to see what the series name is, then go back to search the series again.

Welcome! Interesting idea. I might recommend that you share that in the CLZ Comics Mobile thread. The owner (CLZ_Alwin) and one of the developers (CLZ_AJ) are active in that thread on this site. I’ve used their software for many years and find the employees really open and responsive to user feedback.

Keep in mind that anyone whose username starts with “CLZ” on this site is an actual employee of the company.

Anyone else is a (hopefully) friendly person who just butts in…

But I just thought about it. Doesn’t it already do that?

I typed in Batman Vol to and see the date ranges on the far right side.

I do refer to that when browsing for a series. Though admittedly between scanning the barcode or scanning the cover, I don’t add by series that much these days…
