Now the more complicated part… this Canadian show was aired on a completely different schedule in the USA. The dvd releases fragmented this even further by releasing six ‘seasons’ for a five season show. After “The Fifth Season”, they released a version titled ‘The Final Season”. Core links both of these barcodes to “Season 5”, even though they are completely different sets with different, non-duplicating episodes.
All normal online sources (including IMDB) and Core simply list the original five season episode lists. Unfortunately, this links episode lists that bear very little, if any, resemblance to what is actually on the dvd sets themselves.
I know I can manually fix the episode lists with the custom list feature, at the expense of losing the descriptions and screen captures, but this also does not help anyone else that has these sets. Is there any practical way to get this represented in Core? I do have the episode content of each set available if it would be any help.
Thank you for reporting this. I have updated the two barcodes in CORE.
If you could send me the barcodes along with the episodes that should be linked to those editions, I will update them in CORE for you.
Many thanks in advance.
I have updated the barcodes and linked the correct episodes to these editions.
It’s best to delete your old entries and re-add them using a barcode search to ensure you get the correct versions in your collection.
The Final Season is indeed still linked to Season 5, as it contains the correct episodes.
I have updated the title, so when you scan your barcode, it should now appear as “Flashpoint: The Final Season.”
