Thank you for reporting, I fixed the games that needed an update in CORE.
Note: Some Nintendo barcodes are duplicated in CORE, these are used in Europe, North America, and Australia. Make sure you select the correct one for your region when adding these.
Thanks for this information.
I’ve tried to get a grip of this.
For instance “Alpha Omega” for PAL Nintendo DS, with barcode: 5055377601096
It shows $5.65 value for the Europe release even though the PCID has no priceinformation (N/A), the link “Values by PriceCharting.com” links to the PAL version of the game
This is indeed a known bug in Game Connect currently, so I advice not to base corrections for PriceCharting on information you’re getting through Connect (it will always try to grab US PCID.).
Working on a big new Add Games screen update right now (couple of months actually), and this will be fixed in that new screen.
I recommend to leave the Pricecharting error reports for now, until we have the new Add Games screen!
For Game Connect I don’t have an exact timeframe. We’re still in development mode for that, but we’re close to testing phase. Could be a couple of weeks, but don’t hold me to that.
If you have troubles with the Windows version, can you post the problem in our Windows Game Collector forum?
As a developer myself i fully understand, and wont hold you to it.
Let me know if youd like someone to test things.
I will do some more tests on the Game Collector and see if i find any consistency. But for now it seems like the collector picked up US PCIDs where both the clz app and Connect picked up EU PCIDs. Will follow up
Sidenote, found the “issue” that caused my to think Game Collector had an error.
The games were linked to US versions of the game, most likely because of the duplication of Barcodes.
Will go over my Nintendo games and assign properly.
