Uncanny Origins (1996-1997) Issue #6 cover has Spider-Man in a box on the lower left corner however the actual issued direct edition has a bar code with “Direct Edition” written within. See attached photo.
It looks like the same is true for #3.
For what it’s worth, the image on display is the flip side of Untold Tales of Spider-Man (Flip Book) #18 and #3 is the flip side of Untold Tales of Spider-Man (Flip Book) #15.

Thanks Justin! Can you please remind me how to update the cover? I tried “relink core variant” and “update from core” but neither worked so maybe I missed a step…
Yes of course! Replace cover with new cover from Core:
- Tap the comic, then tap “Edit”
- Tap the “Cover” tab at the top
- Tap the remove button under the cover
- Save it.
- Now tap “Action”, then choose “Update from Core” and tap “Update”

Believe it’s on the ideas list/planning board to have this done easier. Not sure yet when this will be implemented though. You shouldn’t have to go trough all these steps to update a cover
