I’m adjusting to the new across the width of the screen layout, but one change from the previous layout needs addressing. The Format list icon and Audience Rating icons are now far too small. The size was fine in the previous layout, so could you please restore these icons to their former size so I can actually see that a release is a 4K release. Thank you.
Agree. Some icons now look like micro images. The width of 24px is too constraining in my opinion.
I also agree. These icons are too small. I also noticed that the sample screen shot of the new layout in the newsletter, there seemed to be a space between the studio name and the icons. On my screen after the update the icons are pushed up right underneath the studio name and are almost touching. Can this be fixed like it appears in the sample screen shot that you showed? Thanks
Oh yes, so while this moan has not been addressed, I would like to add something else. The Blu-ray Audio option doesn’t have a logo attached to it - something along the lines of exactly the same logo as used for Blu-ray would do the trick. ![]()
Another vote that the Format icons are a bit too small.
I’ll take note of that. That is a format you use as a movie format?
My apologies for not replying sooner, this post got past us.
We’ve now made them bigger, we agree it looks better!
Thanks for that. The BBFC’s 18 certificate, among others, is now visible again.
Blu-ray Audio discs need to be, as far as I know, run from a menu on a TV screen, and sometimes include video content as well, so in my collection I treat them as both an audio Music format and a video Movie format. So as I say, attaching the Blu-ray logo to the Blu-ray Audio option would make sense to me.
In which field are you putting Blu-ray Audio? The Format field?
That is correct.
Would you want it to be a different logo or would you be okay with exactly the same logo as Bluray?
Same logo as Blu-ray would be fine.
Thanks for your reply: We’ve just added the blu-ray icon to the blu-ray audio format.
Thanks for that.
I think you also broke something.
I have a couple of custom formats that previously didn’t get an icon by you:
- Blu-ray (BD25) - Now shows correct Blu-ray logo
- Blu-ray 3D (BD25) - Now shows incorrect Blu-ray logo instead of Blu-ray 3D logo
- 4K UHD (BD25) - Now shows correct 4K logo
- 4K UHD (BD50) - Now shows correct 4K logo
I noticed it doesn’t matter for the new Blu-ray Audio detection how you write down the format:
- Blu-ray Audio
- Pure Audio Blu-ray
in both cases it shows the Blu-ray logo.
This should now be fixed as well @twazerty
