Front Cover Images Not Showing from Core

After adding movies by scanning the barcode, the front cover images aren’t showing up. Rear covers load correctly. Syncing with core doesn’t detect any changes.

Do you mean Sync with CLZ Cloud or Update from Core?

Can you try this?

  1. FIRST: Please open the Settings app on your Android device and navigate to the app list. Select the CLZ app and make sure the ‘storage’ permission is toggled ON.
  2. THEN from the menu in your CLZ app, sync with CLZ Cloud to make sure all entries are up in your CLZ Cloud.
  3. Now, open the menu, tap Maintenance and then “Clear Database”.
  4. Finally sync with CLZ Cloud to download the data and images again from the CLZ Cloud

Can you please let me know if that worked or not?

Both Sync with Cloud and Update from Core don’t trigger cover art to show.

  1. I don’t see ‘storage’ listed in app permissions “Camera” and “Photos and videos” are both listed as allowed. The settings does say “No permissions denied”.
  2. Done, all changes synced from app to cloud.
  3. Done, local database removed.
  4. Done, all changes synced from cloud back to app.

Sadly the movie covers still show as blank.

It’s just movies I’ve added in the last few weeks. Everything else appears correctly.

I found that those particular entries had broken images in Core.
I fixed them now.

I found a few more that might be broken:

I just added Moon Knight and it had the same problem. Knives Out is a very old collection item, so not sure why the cover isn’t working now.

@CLZ_Alwin, any chance you can update this UPC too? Its for Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.

Newer steelbooks added from Core do not seem to have the same cover photo problem anymore.

This barcode is under the movie The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (2024)
as a steelbook.

It seems the cover was updated July 4th.

Can you try updating it/adding it again to see if it works for you?

I don’t see any problems with that one, but I replaced the cover anyway.
