More recently I am seeing images that download that are not visible within the (windows) program itself but when you go to edit the movie you can see the images in the cover handler screen.
(The program shows the broken image icon on the main view screen)
Most common reason is that they are PNG files but they are named JPG. On the user side of things one can simple rename the file to its right extension and browse the image to correct the association again. Or of course replace it with one’s own image.
Today I added UPCs 743501043509 and 843501043486. Both exhibit this issue.
Work flow:
- Search and add UPC to Movie Collector for Windows
- The screen will show the movie details but the image will show a broken image icon until you fix it
