Hi! I’m a newbie and recently imported nearly 8000 comics into CLZ :). Due to my meticulous nature, I created a spreadsheet that listed 31 errors I noticed. They span from the 80s through today. What’s the preferred method of reporting these? One post with all 31? Separate posts? A trouble ticket? Or…just don’t report that many :). Thanks in advance!
[Similarly: there were several others items I wanted to report that aren’t errors per se but are just inconsistencies in how titles or issues are presented. Suggestions here are also appreciated :).]
In fact - is there a way to report an error while looking at a comic? What does the “Submit to Core” option do - is it a way to make a correction and ‘submit’ your suggestion for a fix to the core?
Submit to Core is indeed a way where you fix the errors in your own collection, and then submit the fixes to us - just try it with one and you will see the screen you need to go through to submit it. It could be handy to also post about your submissions here too.
However, feel free to post about errors here and we can fix them for you.
I’m not sure what you mean with “reporting an error while looking at a comic” though!
Thank you @CLZ_AJ and @CLZ_Justin ! AJ I just meant pulling up a comic in CLZ, noticing an error, and then ‘reporting’ it, which is really just using Submit to Core based on what you said!
I think I will create a single post with outright errors and possibly a separate post re: debatable items, and then going forward I’ll use “Submit to Core” when I see anything new. Great to know! Thanks to both of you.
