Has any consideration ever been given to creating a generic CLZ/Connect application? I’m thinking something where you have a configurable set of text fields, date fields, lookup lists, etc. that could be given custom labels and activated/deactivated in order to make a collection that isn’t supported by one of your current apps. You would be able to sync to cloud, but there would of course be no Core.
I ask only because one of my biggest collections is of pins and buttons, and the only decent apps for those are specific to Disney pins. I would love to be able to maintain my pin collection with the portability and polish that CLZ/Connect gives me for my other collections.
If you don’t think there would be enough of a market, I understand. Just doing some wishful thinking.
We have thought about this but we have no plans for a " CLZ You Name It" tool. The best part of our software is the Core database under it. When you have to add your entire collection manually, it becomes work

Sorry to bring up an older topic, but I wanted to note that while the “CLZ Core” is a fantastic function of the apps you created, i’d say the aesthetic/functionality is really what distinguishes your app from the others. I’ve used many collection apps. Some free, and some paid, and they almost all offer a “look up” function where it will populate information about the item in question. But when it comes to the UI, ease of use, and ability to edit almost anything, no other app comes close. It’s why I’ve stuck with your app for so long (since 2018) when there are many free options that offer similar information. You’re doing the devs a disservice by valuing the “CLZ Core” over the apps themselves. With the hundreds of different types of collectibles that exist, needing to make an app for each individual one and the subsequent “Core” that would follow seems an impossible task, yet there are users that would love to use your software for their “insert collectible here” collection. I think considering a “CLZ Collectibles” app without a “Core” would be a great. And it would be a welcomed addition to your app lineup and brand as a whole. You could easily pull in collectors from different facets that don’t fall into your Games/Books/Movies/Music/Comics demographic which just sounds like a win to me.
