Genres added when new title added

Hi guys,

I would like to not add the genres when i add a new release on the app.

It is currently not possible to disable Genres from downloading in CLZ Music mobile app.
I’ll put it on the suggestion list.

You can of course use “Edit Multiple” every once in a while to remove all genres from all albums.
Bit of a hassle workaround, but it would do the trick if you really don’t want any genres add all.

Alternatively, you can use the menu top left, go to Pre-fill Settings, switch it on and add the GENRE field, and type something in the genre field. That will make sure THAT genre will be added every time for every album - and nothing from Core will be added to it.

Just some workaround options for you for now!

This is a new problem because there is no more “Erase Empty Genres/Tag etc…” option in the “Manage Pick Lists” tool.

If this option will be back, it could be a solution too

We already re-introduced that option (and in a better way too). This has already been built, and released for CLZ Comics (in its version 9.0).
But it has not been released for CLZ Music yet. Coming up in version 9.0:

  • Maintenance menu: new “Remove all unused pick list entries”
