I’ve just started entering books (only one so far) on CLZ Books Web. This is the one I want, not the CLZ Books mobile, which I think I clicked on in the App Store. I won’t get charged for this second one will I?
I understand there’s no easy way, if at all, to add contents for an anthology or collection. Any chance of that happening in a future upgrade? Any other suggestions for that?
I noticed on my first book, Douglas Adams’ The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, pocket book 0671461494, it shows the retail (cover) price as $18.00 when it is actually $2.95. What’s happening here?
The “I am not a robot” ReCaptcha that we use is a standard captcha tool from Google, used by millions of websites, to better protect their sites, servers and private user data against hack attempts by malicious bots.
For most users, all it takes is an extra click on the “I am not a robot” checkbox. Should only be a small annoyance.
Only in situations where the recaptcha suspects malicious actions, then it will show you the extra popup where you need to select images with busses, trains, signs, etc..
If you get those popups every time, then something is wrong. Maybe you are using a VPN that causes the request to come from a suspicious IP? Maybe you have a password manager that does not play well with the captcha?
But, asking your questions on our forums will work too.
Good to hear that. When I check your email address, I do not see a trial or subscription for CLZ Books Mobile, so I’m assuming all is good, unless you used a different email address (if you still have CLZ Books Mobile on your phone, open it, check the menu top left to see what it says and let me know).
If you use Apple, you can see which subscriptions you have like so: On iPhone or iPad
Open the Settings app.
Tap your name (Apple ID profile) at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
View your active plans listed near the top
Afraid not, we do not have this information in Core so we couldn’t know which books (or which of the 100s of versions of a book) is attached to another books anthology.
It seems to be an error on our side. My apologies.
For now I recommend to just edit the book and type in 2.95 for the cover price.
