Hi,
on my zidoo device I have a very practical feature : when your movie library grows, it gets harder to scroll into it, and the developers grouped the movies list by saga or collection.
For example, for Star wars there is only one entry and when you select it you gets all the 9 movies listed. Same thing for other collections : avengers, batman…
There is no such option in your application. I guess that this is “just” a group by a given field in the library.

You can fill in tags or SERIES field yourself.
Select your Star Wars movies (tap and hold, then select all of them), then tap ACTION > EDIT
Then add the TAG field
Fill in “Star Wars”
Save it.
Then you can just tap the folder button top left, then tap TAGS and it will automatically group on all tags you’ve entered.
You can also for instance tap the FOLDER button top left and tap “FORMAT” to quickly see all your DVDs together, your Blu-Rays together.

Thanks, okay I could do that but I’d rather get this settled automatically and besides I don’t think this wouldn’t let display a list of all movies with a compacted view of sagas or collections. With your hint, I would have : Star wars, Indiana Jones, …, and “Others” folder for all the movies without any tag.
Indeed, we don’t have “sagas” as a field, so that data doesn’t come in I’m afraid.
It won’t do anything to the speed though if you’d “compact them” if that’s what is your main goal here, the speed should just be fast in our app.
Ok just by curiosity, isn’t such a field available in IMDB (where you are sourcing from as far as I understand) ?
There might be, and I’ve taken note of your idea, but right now there’s nothing I can do for you other than to suggest to either use the Tags field, or keep using the other app of course
