HDR field not updating from core

I’m new here and seeing that my 103 movies are all “N/A” under HDR for edition specs. I have done both “update” and “replace” from core with 0 luck.

Also I would like to understand how to add new columns to the filter bar, like HDR.

I think I may have answered you this morning via email.

The HDR field is not a field we provide from Core currently, so you have to fill that one in yourself: click a movie, edit it, go to “Edition Specs” tab, then choose one of the HDR options from the dropdown.

We do provide audio information. For instance if you were to add barcode 7333018027343 it would give you Guardians fo the Galaxy Vol. 3 with “Dolby Atmos” and “DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1” as audio tracks, from Core.

To change which columns you see on the main list, click this button:

Then look for HDR (you can search it with the box at the top )

Then check the box in front of it, then SAVE, and it should be there as a column.

Alternatively you could “Group” on the HDR field. To do that:

  • In the main screen, top left, click the folder button
  • Then find HDR under edition and click it
  • This will group all your movies based on what you filled in their HDR fields.

This is super helpful! Thanks a ton. Any planned updates going to have core include dolby vision and the HDR info for movies? Would be an awesome way to look at collection that way without having to look on the back of each individual case to find the dolby / HDR info.

We might add the field to Core in the future so users can also submit the information (and we can work on adding it) (no promises here right now though).

We also plan to make the field a multi-field so you can checkbox multiple versions of HDR (as discs sometimes come with multiple versions these days).

For now your best bet is to click a movie, click edit, and fill in the data yourself!
