CLZ Music Web (web-app that works in your web-browser) can not scan your hard drive for files I’m afraid.
Would this be something you would look into in the future ? I have a lot of live shows on external hard drives, and if i want to add them to my collection, having to manually add each track and time is a bit of a pain.
I’m not sure if we will ever consider this. The reason is that it is something most webbrowsers would consider “invasive” (a lot of webbrowsers do not like this at all) to let something “scan” a harddrive on a computer, and reading files (IDv3 Tags). If that makes sense?
We might be able to get an “import from text” or “csv” on the tracks tab, that would be easier. Where you’d upload a CSV or paste a text in certain format to instantly get all track titles/artists and lengt (for 1 album). (Just thinking out loud).
I never even thought about that. Obvious really.
The import from text feature would be handy though.
