How does CLZ handle "flip books"?

I’ve recently comes across two examples of flip-books, that is a book that contains 2 stories, which start at opposite ends of the book. Each story is “flipped” upside down compared to the other story.

Does anyone have an idea about how the Core handles (or is supposed to handle) these?

The two examples:

Real Girl #7. The back cover of this is flipped and presents itself (and reads) as a separate publication, i.e., Girltalk #1.

Trillium #1, 2nd printing. This entry in the Core seems to just put one of the front covers as the back cover. (I do note that this is not exactly two separate books, as the two stories meet in the middle.) The back cover in the Core is a virgin variant so just appears as an artistic back cover; the back cover I have for this book is the same art that is currently in the Core as the back cover but with full trade dress, bar code, and logo. (Is there a way to handle different back covers?)

Thanks

We usually have them as front cover has the first book, back cover has the flipped book, like you said.

You are free to just edit the book in your collection and set your own back cover of course, so do that if you want.

OK great. It also seems that I have a different back cover than the Core shows (virgin back vs. trade dress back). Would I request on the forums that be added as a variant issue?

Hi there,

Sure, feel free to report any missing comic in the Missing section. Please be sure to add enough comic related information (like barcode and maybe a clear front and backcover) so we can work with that. Thank you in advance.
