How to change a comic variant?

I am constantly finding that the newsstand/direct variant letter is inconsistent for older books and needing to fix the item in my database. There is probably an easy way to do this, but it’s not at all clear. I find myself removing a comic and adding it back with the other variant letter. If there is no way to do this, consider it a feature request.

You should be able to select the issue and right click on it. You would then select Relink Core Variant. It will show the variants for the book and you select the one you have.

Re-Link Core Variant is indeed the way to go.
Select the comic, then from the toolbar above the details panel, click the 3-dot menu icon and choose “Re-Link Core Variant”.
