Hi, I just switched over to the Web-based version, so bear with me if I am overlooking the obvious. In the legacy software I could use sophisticated filtering using boolean terms such as .NOT. or ‘contains’. For instance, I used this to search the Notes field for ‘does not contain ’ to search for vinyl I had not cleaned yet. So far, I haven’t been able to find this functionality (although the folder search function is pretty neat!) I can search the Notes field in the richt corner search box but how do I apply the ‘negative filter’ there?
This is not possible in the web version right now. It is on the ideas list.
If you used extensive NOT filters in the old legacy Windows version it might be best to move back completely to the old Windows version and stick with it.
Okay. I can work around it to some extent with the Folders filters and by adding the field I wish to see as a column. Unfortunately, these filters do not ‘stack’. If I filter on Format = Vinyl and then check Last Cleaned Date, the Format defaults to all formats. I would like it to do both, so I only see the Last Cleaned Date of my Vinyl collection.
