So as I’ve been exploring the web version I did see that there is a hyperlink filter which is really nice. This does meet some (not all) of the filtering that I’d love to see that I used to have on the desktop. Just wondering if you could expand the filtering on this a bit.
For example, rather than having to click the filter, could you add the ability to just add that filter option by selecting the field first. Maybe a dropdown in the search bar that would let you select the field first rather than only defaulting to the game title.
Would it also be possible to add custom fields? For example, I have a custom field that identifies whether a game is a physical release or digital. I’d love to be able to have a single filter for the whole collection where I could toggle on or off that single filter to see just physical or just digital content. I could then add more folders in my view rather than using up one of the 3 levels on a binary folder.
And while I’m at it, more than one filter active at a time would be fantastic.

All the hyperlinks to filter are all for fields you also can foldergroup on by the way (so kinda like the same result, but of course it is much quicker if you’re in a game and want to see more from that genre, or whatever you click on.
Currently Custom Fields are not clickable hyperlinks to filter on that. But you can use Foldergrouping on your custom fields to filter on them.

I don’t understand “rather than only defaulting to default game title” - are you reporting a problem/bug in the current web version?
No, it works as is, just a suggestion to allow you to select a field to search on, instead of just game title.

Thank you! Oh now I think I understand. The dropdown for the searchbar is indeed also on our ideas list. Right now it searches way more than just the title field (but only if you hit enter), like words in the description etc.
The idea to make it specific to a certain field is on the list and will likely happen.
