Idea for new version

Hi everybody,

I write here, but of course can be also for web and mobile version! I have many books in language with another alphabet than mine ( i think can call it latin ?) (chinese, japanese, thai, russian…), so, in some the title are in 2 version, local and latin , so i write the first on in title and the second in subtitle. Some books are only, for example, in chinese, so after translated with google i write same , title and subtitle, but technically should be not like that, maybe can added “translated title”?. But for the titel can use subtitle, it’s not a big problem. FOr the name of the autor it’s more difficult, so, i put orinal name and translated version togheter, but it’s not really nice. Can be possible to add option in original name and translated name? This is very useful when search in the web, sometime need original name, but when i search in the software, of course it’s easier with latin alphabet for me.

I’m not sure here, would it not be easier for yourself to just have the title / author the way you “know and recognize” it?
(what is the reason for wanting to have the original author/title letters/language in your database?)

First, the translation in latin alphabet many time are phonetical, so, maybe not precise, and , if for example i want to search the autor or the book in original language on the web, i must copy and past the original, in translated version i will probably don’t find anything. So, for that i prefer to have the 2 version, original, for web search and for the accuracy of database, and with latin alphabet for my search and/or understanding

For authors I try to use the pseudonym feature of the desktop version but the data gets easily lost when updated and synchronized with the cloud. Otherwise this would be my preferred method for this and I hope to get better author support aka pseudonyms in the web and mobile version soon.
