I grade my comics as I enter them, then I immediately bag and board them. I’ve noticed there’s no grader notes on the “Pre-fill Comic Details” screen, so the way I have to do it now is enter all the comics, then after I bag and board them, I have to grade them as a separate action. It would be a big help to me, and probably others, if we could enter grading notes as we enter the comic into the database. We can enter the grade, but not the notes. Those two things go together. What do you think?
Edit: This would be for single comic addition. I realize it’s probably impossible for bulk adding. Of course, then CLZ wouldn’t be able to use the same screen for adding a single comic versus multiple comics. I get that. I just hate having to go back and edit every comic I add, even when it’s a single comic.
I’m not sure how this has to do with the design of our interface?
It feels like you’re suggesting to have an extra field available to you in Pre-fill.
There’s the whole thing, pre-fill was aimed to be used for “groups of comics that you are adding”, where the data is most likely the same for all of them.
I will put it on the list to see if we can add this field to Pre-fill - but be careful if you do add in bulk - shouldn’t be to hard to switch that field on there.
Tip:
You can always sort on date added, then edit the books so you don’t have to go search for them.
