Is there a way to revert data to a previous state?

When making a universal change to all my albums for “Location”, I didn’t realize that the “Format” and possibly a few other fields (I haven’t check yet for yet) were made null. Is there a way to revert changes back to a previous state.?

I really don’t want to have to update over 800 CD and Vinyl entries.

Update: I have not sync’d yet with my mobile app on my phone. It still has the previous state. Can that be used in some way?

Hi John, have you tried restoring a Backup , I’m no expert but that might work.

Did you use the “edit multiple” feature in CLZ Music Web?

When you use “edit multiple” you get to choose which fields you want to modify. If you leave a field empty in the next screen, then that field will clear for all selected albums you’re editing.

Did you only choose Location? Because if so, the Format should not have been made null. Only if you specifically also choose to edit the format field (and possibly other fields you’ve chosen for “Edit Multiple”

Yes, you could re-upload from your mobile device. Here’s how:

FIRST: make absolutely sure you have your latest data in your CLZ mobile app. Then continue with these steps:

  1. Open the app menu, and choose Sync with CLZ Cloud to open the Sync screen.
  2. At the bottom left, click the “Clear CLZ Cloud” button and confirm.
  3. Now sync with CLZ Cloud to upload all your data to the CLZ Cloud, which will make them good in CLZ Music Web.
