Issue / Variant Display

I am trying to edit some books in the Web software, and noticed the Variant letter/number/etc. is smack dab beside the Issue # (IE: 1A). In the PC software I could change that display to be different, (IE: 1-A, 1 A). Can I do this in the Web sofware aswell? It’s very handy.

In the “Edit Comic” screen you have 2 fields, “issue” and “variant” - which should be separated. Do you not have that?

In the rest of CLZ Comics Web, the variant will hug the issue number. And that can not be changed currently (that is indeed a setting in the old Windows version, so I’ll take note of the wish to getting that in the Web version).

You are talking about that part right? Not the Edit Comic screen.. right?

yes. Youre correct. Looking forward to it being in future update

Hi AJ. Are you any closer to getting this resolved? I’m in the process of moving my collection over and the”hugging” of issue+variant is ugly. Before I go in and hyphenate the 13000 records I already have to separate them out would like to know if this change is ever going to happen.

OK, So now I can show the Variants in a separate column but still can’t lose the trailing character in the Issue column. So instead of seeing “Issue#”, “Variant” I see “Issue#Variant”, “Variant”

It is on the ideas list, I can’t confirm it will make the cut.

For your columns, you could just add these two columns:

Issue Nr
Variant

(and not “Issue” as the “Issue” column is the column that shows both nr and variant)
