When I add a link (always to the Discogs listing) the description just reads “Just a moment…”. It seems to work if I add other URL’s for non-Discogs pages. I always just delete it and leave it blank. Is it just me?
Hi @groundcat,
No. It’s not just you. But, you can type the link name, i.e. Discogs, in the description. That works for me.
Phil
We’ve checked (a couple of months ago, when this first started happening) and it seems that Discogs is sometimes blocking our request for a page title, and just gives back that “Just a moment…” page because of their Cloudflare protection. I’m afraid we can’t do anything about that (except just not put their “Just a moment…” in there. We’ll look into that.)
You can of course just delete it and leave it blank, or type “Discogs” in there.
OK. Thanks for the explanation.
Today I added a bunch of URL’s to some movie entries and the “Just a moment…” was super annoying. In my case I wanted to add a custom title anyway, so when I started typing the “Just a moment” was prefixed, or I clicked in the field so my cursor landed in the middle of the text… Then I had to remove the text.
Suggestion: Make it a setting if you want the retrieval of the title.
Another suggestion: Fill in the title of the page OR don’t add the text “Just a moment” at all and leave it blank?
