In my library I have many books that I want to replace with better ones. This concerns damaged or ‘crooked’ books, books with missing dust jackets, etc. Paperbacks that I want to replace with bound copies also belong in this list. I would like to identify these books in Book Connect, in such a way that I can print out a list of all books in my library that are eligible for replacement. How do I do that?
I would recommend to tag them using the Tags field, e.g. setting a “ToBeReplaced” tag.
Then use Tag folders in the main screen to find them and print them.
Let me know if you need further help with that.
What do you mean by ‘Tags field’? I cannot find that expression in the manual. What is the Dutch translation of that term?
We don’t have a manual page dedicated to Tags, but here’s where to find the field: If you edit the book go to the “Persoonlijk” tab, then you should find the “Tags” field there.
Type in a tag, save it, and done.
Later you can click the Folder button top left in your main screen, and group by Tags (again under Persoonlijk there).
