Intro
I just signed up for the forums a day or so ago, but have been using Collectorz / CLZ for quite a while. I started off with Music Collector probably sometime in 2007. The earliest email I could find was for a purchase of Music Collector Pro on 2008-02-22 (wow, it doesn’t feel that long ago).
I then added Movie Collector Pro on 2011-10-12
I used both of these Windows apps until early 2017 for Movie Collector Pro and 2019 for Music Collector Pro. Those are the years I made the switch to the web apps since I was experimenting with Chrome OS and Linux a bit.
I’ve been using the web apps regularly since, although Music Web gets the most use since I have sort of stopped buying very many physical or digital movies these days. I’m still all in on physical formats for music though. I’ve added all of my music CDs, vinyl, Blu-ray, DVDs, etc. to Music Web, just to have everything organized by artist.
Music Web stats: 2029 albums and 496 Artists | 2438 discs, 24127 tracks
Movie Web stats: Total: 434 Movies, 58 Tv Series | 680 Discs in 4 Formats
The Albums by Artist & Year and Movies by Director & Actor basically outline my tastes fairly well.
