I noticed today that when I export a CSV (or txt) file of a displayed List, the fields CoreID and MediaID can (no longer?) be selected for export (even so they are shown as columns in the list on screen). I am not sure, but I think that was not the case before.
This constitutes for me a real handicap to create my duplicate lists in excel.
Hi @Allardl we’ve checked the code, but that has been the case for about 8 years already, (we didn’t go further back).
Are you sure this worked before? When did you last export this?
Also: if it’s just for finding duplicates, would it not be easier to just use the Find Duplicates screen? (menu top left, then click “Find Duplicates”, and pick which field you want to find duplicates on).
Thank you, I am more used to export as xml, therefor I am not sure. But the Data is in the XML export. My need is to export the data of duplicate MovieIDs and that in the duplicate screen there is no export function (also now I know that windows Select All selects data across all screens and then I can copy/paste all the data in one go)
Ah okay. I don’t think it was ever possible in that case. If XML works for you, then that’s good too.
I get the feeling we discussed exporting from Find Duplicates in a past topic - and you probably had reasons you needed the duplicate data outside of CLZ?
